Surround your visage with these whispery long, jungle inspired earrings! I cut these long slender, leaf shaped earrings from single-use plastic and whimsically painted them with enamels on the back side, and accented the front as well, using 2 shades of green along with orange, fuschia and white. Cut from a single-use clear plastic food container, of a purchased food product, which has been washed and sterilized. Re-Use and reduce my friends. Protect our wild spaces! The plastic edges are finished by heating them along the surface of an iron.

These measure approx. 3/4”W x 4” Tall from top of hook to bottom dangles. Hooks are shaped from 20 gauge bright copper colored craft wire and the tail measures approx. 3-1/4” long. Hooks are my “key-hole” shaped design and stay put. Bottom dangles are a center fresh water pearl with smaller faux pearl on either side. Pearls are added using a 22 gauge antique copper colored craft wire, with the ends forged and curled. Extremely light weight, glossy and evocative of fluttering jungle insects! Buy wearable art!
