My insect wing earrings are super light weight! Real butterfly wings are set between (clever reuse) of single-use plastics (image 9). This pair features the wings of two different species. Colors range: near black, burnt and rusty oranges, ochre, sepia, yellows and tiny white dots along edges at top.

Overall earring dimensions approx. 7/8”W and 2+7/8”T from top of hook to bottom dangle. The hooks are shaped and cut from antique copper colored craft wire and measure approx. 7/8” long to evoke butterfly legs/antennae (image 5).
NOTE: All butterflies were gathered for me by my friendly neighborhood insectarium, after each insect’s natural life span. CARDBOARD MODELS ARE LIFE SIZED.
