Cicada Two

Cicada Two
Harness the magic…These are cicada hindwings. From my “found bug” collection. These wings feature delicate veining. I have ever-so lightly sealed them to preserve their delicate nature. It is a challenge to photographically capture their fragile/transparent beauty. I have embellished these with fresh water pearls. Extremely light weight, these flitter beautifully and reflect light like crazy. I have cut + shaped the hooks from antique copper colored craft wire. These measure approx. 2” long from top of hook to bottom dangle. The hook tail measures approx. 7/8”. Buy my wearable nature art and Rock the World!
NOTE: Cardboard models are life-size. All dragonfly and cicada wings are found by me. The insects have lived their full life. I keep an eye as I walk and bike outside enjoing nature and gardening.
