My wing earrings are super light weight! These are actual cicada wings from my “found bug” collection. I have sealed the hindwings of the cicada ever-so lightly to preserve their delicate nature.

These are embellished with a tiny feaux pearl at top and also dangling at tip. The wings flitter beautifully and reflect light like crazy. I have cut + shaped the hooks (image 3), which measure approx. 1/2” L, from antique copper colored craft wire. Earrings measure approx. 1+5/8” long from top of hook to bottom dangle and are approx. 1/2”W. Buy my wearable nature art and rock the world!

NOTE: I find all cicada and dragonfly wings after each insect’s natural life span, on the ground, while gardening, or while out in nature. CARDBOARD MODELS ARE LIFE SIZED.
