I caught these doubloons February 11, 2018 at the Thoth Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans. They are copper painted aluminum (I believe(?) I hole punched and embellished these with 2 swirly green, semi-opaque glass bead drops, with a center purple crystal drop, crowned with a moss green metallic painted seed bead. Edges of doubloons are painted a metallic purple. Beads are assembled and attached with gunmetal craft wire and jump rings. The hooks are fashioned from bright copper 20 gauge craft wire. I forged bright copper jump rings to connect design to hooks. These are light weight and pleasantly jingly. You will feel like a Disney® Esmerelda wearing these. Doubloons are approx. 1+1/2" in diameter. These hang down about 3" from earlobe when worn.
